Haven’t done an environment in quite some time. A little rusty, but I’m pretty happy with the results.

This is a piece I did for a gallery called "Sweet!"specifically for members of the CCAD Illustration Student Collective. It will be held at 39 Below Frozen Yogurt in Columbus, OH on November 3rd. So if you are in the Columbus Area, stop by and say hi. I will have a few prints of this to sell.

A painting done for class, trying to paint more women for my portfolio.

we had to choose from 4 starting words to come up with ideas I picked "Pinup" because I thought it would be interesting to depict an older woman completely covered in armor but still make her attractive, but in a less blatantly sexual way.

Another painting for my independent study. I liked the idea of a warg using an old shield from a defeated enemy as armor.

This is the first of several more in depth paintings I plan to do in my independent study during this semester at school.

I've recently discovered that I am an AFOL (google it) and I have got to say it's good to be back. so here I have merged 2 of my favorite things. It was a lot of fun.

War In Heaven

Here is the first of hopefully quite a few personal projects I have planned for the summer. It all started with a watercolor study I did of a sculpture depicting Michael the archangel defeating Satan. That spawned another piece I did for my watercolor final that was in my curvilinear style. (I plan to recreate it digitally and upload it later). But I had so much fun with the concept and the classic characters that I decided to be a little more ambitious and really do my best to depict the epic battle scene that comes to mind when I read through Revelation 12: 7-9.
